Overview

    Yoga is beneficial for adults and children for the body , mind and emotions. Gigi is also a qualified school teacher and counsellor so your children will get MORE than just exercise in this class. This 8 week course will include relaxation, meditation and breathing tools as well as physical yoga.
    Children will be supported to :-

    focus and concentrate

    self-regulate to calm down

    manage stress and anxiety

    build confidence

    improve balance and strength

    improve posture and flexibility

    become calmer and happier

    sleep better.

Yoga & Beyond was founded by Gigi Neophytou in 2006 (in South West Sydney) to support and foster the sense of relaxation , mindfulness, overall health and peace in the community.


Gigi has 15 years experience as a primary school teacher and is also a professional counsellor , natural lifestyle coach and yoga teacher.


Yoga & Beyond runs kids yoga courses twice a year ( 8 sessions per course)

and Gigi quickly connects with all the children to personally to provide a healing and friendly environment through which she can help address many issues.


By integrating body, breath, movement, and meditative awareness, she works to promote an understanding of the children's power over their personal health and wellbeing choices.

NB: High School ages children can use their Active Kids Vouchers to attend the adult classes with their parents. ( a great family bonding experience)


KIDS YOGA (Primary school ages)


The kid's classes are led by Gigi, who has over 30 years of experience teaching children and supporting them to grow in maturity and confidence.


The course has been created to help your child's physical, emotional and psychological development.


Helping them to:
