    This Kids Yoga Session will consist of mindful colouring in, basic yoga poses through story time, crystal exploration and sound healing through meditation.
    They'll be learning life skills, in a fun and conscious way.

Yoga can fit into any schedule and can be used as a wonderful tool to promote health and relaxation in children. Giving your child tools, such as deep breathing or various poses from yoga, to promote relaxation and reduce stress is an amazing tool to have in your child’s toolbox for life.


Yoga is a wonderful exercise for children that feels less like exercise and more like loving and respecting one’s body. Yoga is a fantastic choice of exercise for kids of all ages because it has so many benefits and can be done almost anywhere. Through yoga, kids can learn to live in the moment and focus on what they are doing at that moment.


OUR K.I.D.S CLASSES


The Journey of fun and relaxation.


Welcome to the world of yoga. Our Yoga Studio aims to make the practice of yoga fun, approachable and joyful. We believe that integrating yoga into your child's week will improve their health and change their quality of life for the better.


Our K.I.D.S classes run for approx 30-40 minutes and involve various activities; mindful colouring in, scratch pad mindfulness, kinetic sand sensory play, yoga through story time, breathing meditation, colour meditation, feelings meditation, sound healing, aromatherapy essential oils, and crystal exploration. We love stickers, stamps and certificates for all children to enjoy weekly.


ABOUT MS LAUREN


My name is Lauren, I am 30years old, mum of two beautiful young girls and wife to one very kind man. I have always been passionate about helping kids see the brighter side of life. I have been teaching in High Schools and working with Special Needs kids for the past 10 years and I would love to dive in deeper and support kids through practicing mindfulness and yoga. I have never taken life too seriously, always a smile on my face and I’m very optimistic. Through personal experience, I strongly value dedicating time to mental health and training our mind to help cope with life's pressures. I only wish I had these skills as a child: I hope to build strong connections with TYP's community and help make a difference.


There is nothing like witnessing the transformation that takes place in my students when they become as passionate as I am about yoga. From better posture to improved mental health, the world of yoga offers all of us a unique chance to connect with ourselves and become who we hope to be.
