- SURF YOGA WEEKEND
Escape, relaxation, freedom, friendship, surfing and yoga is the mantra for these amazing weekends away.
WHERE WE GO
Camps are held in the Seal Rocks area, approx 3.5 hours drive north of Sydney. This region offers a range of surf beaches, that work in different wind and swell conditions - so no matter what the weather, we are guaranteed to be able to surf. Some of the beaches surfed at include - Seal Rocks Number 1, Blueys, Boomerang, Lighthouse, Seven Mile and Elizabeth.
HOW WE GET THERE
THE WAVES BUS
- 20 seat Toyota Coaster
Departs Day 1
- 9am
Returns Day 3
- 5pm
WHERE WE STAY
Nestled amongst the trees, and a 2 minute walk from the edge of beautiful Smiths Lake, our home for the weekend is a unique loft style, balinese inspired treehouse. Open planned living, with nooks to escape for some alone time, if you choose.

Delicious, healthy meals are on the menu all weekend.

NB Not all activities are undertaken on every camp. The activities are dependent on Mother Nature's mood, and the energy and requests of the group.
THE SURFING
Open to all levels to advanced surfers.
Each guest will have the time to discuss the surfing goals, and be given one on one time to work on this.
Video footage of one Surf Session will be recorded, viewed and analysed.
THE YOGA
All levels of yogis are welcome to join the sunrise yoga sessions.
SLEEPING OPTIONS
Rooms are shared, with sleeping options as follows
Room 1 - Sleeps 4 - 2 x Bunk beds
Room 2* - Sleeps 2-3 - 1 Q bed, 1 single
Room 3* - Sleeps 4 - 1 Q bed, 1 x bunk bed
Room 4 - Sleeps 2 - 2 S beds, in the loft room, amongst the tree tops
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR OVERNIGHT CAMPS
*100% credit for class rescheduled by Waves Surf School OR Government restrictions
*50% refund or 85% credit on cancellations made > 14 days prior to activity - 100% transfer available
*No refund or credit available for cancellations made <14days prior to activity - 100% transfer available to another surfer

Waves Surf School offers Surf Day Trips, Surf Overnight Camps and Surf Yoga Escapes. We have been operating out of Sydney for over 20 years, offering learn to surf adventures for Kids and Adults.
Owned and operated by Dean 'Deano' Dunstone, this father of two teenagers is a qualified surf instructor, professional skater & actor, landscape designer and horticulturalist.
With an amazing rapport with people of all ages, safety is Deano's main priority, yet fun is undoubtedly what he exudes.
Waves have run School Surf Camps with Barker College, Outdoor Education Group, German International School, Bridigine College, Brighton Grammar and Haileybury College.
SURF DAY TRIPS AND CAMPS
Day trips are tailored to first timers and experienced groms.
Overnight surf camps have been created for groms with an intermediate to advanced level.
