Our Holiday Camp includes a 3-hour martial arts workshop (9am-12pm) which introduces students to Boxing, BJJ, Taekwondo, Wrestling, Parkour, Survival skills and more. Students will learn various martial arts skills in a safe, supportive, and fun environment which emphasizes technical development, self-defence and sportsmanship.
The fee is $85 per child per day.
About the instructor:
Carlos is a favourite with our kids, heping his students progress in both skill and confidence. Attaining his 1st Dan Grade as well as his Certificate III in Fitness, Carlos Sensei has over 30 years’ experience in coaching children and adults and has been working for Mosman Martial Arts Academy for over 8 years. Carlos Catano Sensei, started his training in 1988 whilst at university and is an expert in Shito-Ryu, Goju-ryu & Uechi-ryu Karate as well as Hapkido and Chinese Kickboxing. Drawn to a sport which incorporates elements of self-defence, Carlos Sensei began to quickly appreciate the beauty of karate; a sport which provides a method of testing our abilities in a controlled environment. An active member of ITF and World Taekwondo, Carlos is a firm believer of the ‘Healthy Body/Healthy Mind’ Philosophy.
Who: ages 6 to 15 years. Beginners, advanced, members & non-members welcome.
When: Monday to Friday 9am – 12pm except public holidays (drop off 9am; collection 12pm).
Upcoming holiday camps: from 4 to 15 July 2022 except public holidays.
What to bring: Light lunch - no nuts please and a bottle of water.
What to wear: Comfortable clothes or martial arts uniform.
