ABOUT ME

I am a full time professional working artist located in Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia

Just like the children who attend my workshops, I was born with the gift and innate desire to draw and paint and have been practicing and honing my skills my whole life through experimentation and intuitive application.

I have been involved in many exhibitions and art prizes and have won 3 awards to date. I am proficient in most mediums including pencil, charcoal, colour pencil, soft pastel, oil pastel, watercolour, acrylic, and more. I made creating art my full time work in 2014 and have facilitated children’s art workshops since 2015. It is now one of my greatest pleasures to bring this knowledge to the children who share the same passion for art as I do and to nurture that creativity to help them grow as artists as well as little people.

SERVICES

★ K-2 Kids Art Classes

★ 3-6 Kids Art Classes

★ 7-10 Kids Art Classes

★ School Holiday worXshops

The main focus of my childrens art classes while of course being about developing skills, learning about different art techniques, exploring different mediums and learning about varying art styes, will also be in helping the children enjoy the process of creating and the peacefulness that expanding creativity brings. My hope for them is to be comfortable with perceived "failure" or "mistakes" and rather see them as an opportunity to learn, grow and develop their own individuality and confidence.

Lola absolutely loved this. She was afraid she wouldn't be able to paint or draw anything nice. She was able to learn that art takes practice and she blossomed with confidence on Day 2.
