- If you’re keen to have a go at throwing clay on the wheel, this pottery session is for you!
At this crafty pottery class for beginners, we'll focus on all things wheel throwing and make some beautiful mugs with hand built funky handles in one convenient fun session.
Group size: minimum of 2 people to run the class.
Available session times:
Saturdays 1-2:30pm
Price is for class tutoring and take home keepsake.
This includes clay, clear glazing, firings. You get to take home your one best item after your teacher Violetta engraves your message, clear glazes and bakes your mug/vessel ready for pickup in around four to five weeks.
add ons:
(on the day if you like to colour glaze its an extra $25 for colour glazing where you can come back and glaze at a later date (after first firing) in 2 colours of your choosing.

Violetta's classes establish an environment of inspiring and challenging artistic endeavour where there is no sense of not being talented enough or up to a certain level.
Violetta is completely encouraging and non-judgmental. She teachers many aspects, with a wide variety of media - from pencil, sketching/drawing, to working with charcoal, graphite and the techniques needed to employ them.
As well there is drawing, painting and pottery a wide variety of subjects from portraits to still life and anatomy with pencil and or pastels and again with the appropriate techniques.
The classes are small and intimate, and accessible to anyone exploring their own talent or capabilities.
