Located in Perth’s suburbs of Willetton and West Perth, Kai Arts & Music have been providing music lessons to its nearby areas of Rossmoyne, Willetton, Canning Vale, Leeming, Melville, Cannington as Perth Metro North for many years.

We specialise in providing private lessons for a range of instruments including classical piano, classical and acoustic guitar, violin, viola, flute and saxophone. We also provide AMEB music theory classes in support of our music programmes. In all our offerings, we strive to incorporate innovative and creative ideas and methods.

Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced player seeking to refine your skills, our customised curriculum will challenge and motivate you to achieve greater musical and artistic heights.

OUR TEACHERS

Hooi Loo

An accredited member of WAMTA (WA Music Teachers Association), Hooi is an accomplished pianist who graduated from University of Montana, USA, with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance.

She went on to complete her Masters of Music degree at the University of Akron, Ohio, studying under the tutelage of Dr. Paul Schoenfield, a renowned American pianist and composer.

Hooi has performed solo recitals in USA and locally in Perth. She has previously taught at the WA Music Conservatorium, Mt Lawley, in Piano Pedagogy and Practical piano. She also plays and teaches violin here in Kai Arts & Music.

Jeff Loo

Jeff Loo is a classical guitar graduate of the Yamaha Music School (Malaysia) system and has taught at the school and performed at various musical competitions and events in Malaysia and the UK.

A subscriber of the “Segovian” discipline but also an avid technopreneur, Jeff is working on combining his musical learnings with his technical interest into an innovative musical program at Kai Arts & Music.
