    Dubbo Weekend Cartoon Camp - March 2023

    $39 per class

    EARLY BIRD

    Book before 4:30PM Monday March 6th for the Early Bird Special.

    Book all 4 classes (1, 2, 3, 4) & we will give your child a set of 4 Cartooning Books valued at $48. Books will be given out at the camp.

    ACTIVITIES

    ★ Class 1: Saturday 10am - 2pm

    ○ Theme: All things Japanese. Wear Animé, Manga, Pokémon, Kawaii. Prizes for the best dressed.
    ○ Draw: Pokémon™ & bring your cards to trade.
    ○ Make: An origami animal.
    ○ Draw: Kawaii ‘cute’ pets.
    ○ Draw: Manga style faces.
    ○ Draw: Hello Kitty™.
    ○ Play: The exciting game ‘Charge’.
    ○ Competition: Design & win a watch.
    ○ Draw: Kawaii ‘cute’ fruit & vegetables.
    ○ Balloon squishies: Play the squishy game.
    ○ Kids in the kitchen: Decorate & eat doughnuts.
    ○ Pocky Sticks:™Guess the flavour while blind folded.
    ○ Competition: Design a candy packet. Win USA candy!

    ★ Class 2: Saturday 2pm - 6pm

    ○ Theme: Messy clothes & hair. Prizes for the ‘worst’ dressed.
    ○ Draw: ‘Wednesday’ from the Adam’s family.™
    ○ Draw: Stranger Things™ Demogorgon & Demidogs.
    ○ Draw: Australian animals onto golf balls.
    ○ Enjoy: Delicious Skittle S’mores.
    ○ Treasure hunt: In the park.
    ○ Slime: Make fun oobleck slime!
    ○ Play: The shaving cream battle.
    ○ Face painting: Nice or scary like ‘Vecna’.
    ○ Crazy science: With the mad Professor! Drinkable yummy magic potions.
    ○ Old school dance-off: Prizes for best / worst: Chicken Dance, Macareena,
    ○ Nutbush, Rick Rolled, Gangnam Style, Dabbing, Orange Justice & Flossing.
    ○ Harry Potter:™ Draw the castle & play the secrets of Hogwarts™ trivia game

    ★ Class 3: Saturday night 6pm - 9pm

    ○ Theme: Dress in dark clothes for murder in the dark.
    ○ Oreo™ challenge: Guess the flavour while blind folded.
    ○ Play: Sock wrestling ‘Nerf gun’ style.
    ○ Draw: A magical mushroom village.
    ○ Play: The Indiana Jones™ Adventure game.
    ○ Enjoy: Chocolate fondu with marshmallows & fruit.
    ○ Draw: A detailed tropical island & underwater reef.
    ○ Nerf gun disco: Bring in your Nerf guns & goggles for a safe battle & disco. Make cubby houses.
    ○ Play: Murder in the dark! A very exciting game.

    ★ Class 4: Sunday 10am - 2pm (Market Day - best class!)

    ○ Theme: Computer games. Prizes for the best gaming costumes.
    ○ T.Shirt art: Design a T.Shirt. We’ll supply the T.Shirts.
    ○ Draw: Farm animals.
    ○ Draw: Dinosaurs, frogs & snails.
    ○ Make: Friendship bracelets.
    ○ Draw Super Mario:™ Toad™ & Yoshi™.
    ○ Flour battle: Join in if you want to.
    ○ Pamper day: Hair styling, makeup & nails.
    ○ Waterfight: Weather permitting. Bring a watergun.
    ○ Enjoy: Hit & miss fruit jelly tastings - it’s all the craze!
    ○ Competition: Design a flying car & win a real flying drone.
    ○ Kingdom Markets: Everyone prepares a shop. Make cookies, sell toys & books. Children buy & sell using Kingdom money. We’ll give the children $100 Kingdom dollars.
    ○ Talent Show: Perform singing, dancing, gymnastics, comedy, acting, etc...everyone gets a prize.

EASTERN SUBURBS OF ART & CARTOONING


Children will learn the basics of cartooning & drawing. No previous drawing skills are required.


Children will be shown how to draw many of the following: Aliens, animals, beach scenes, caricatures, cities, dinosaurs, insects, painting, people, science fiction, transportation, boats, cars and planes, tropical islands, underwater landscapes, 3D landscapes.

The Illustrating Man Designs Pty Ltd, trading as the Cartoon Kingdom, is Australia's largest leading cartooning, entertainment & art education company providing caricature artists and entertainers to all functions. This includes corporate and public sectors, weddings, product launches, charity fundraising, festivals and private parties.


No job is too big or too small for our cartoonists, caricaturists and other entertainers.
