WHERE WE GO
Camps are held in the Seal Rocks area, approx 3.5 hours drive north of Sydney. As it's off the tourist track, you'll be staying at one of Australia's local hidden gems. The region offers a range of surf beaches, that work in different wind and swell conditions - so no matter what the weather, we are guaranteed to be able to surf.
WHERE WE STAY
Nestled amongst the Booti Booti national park and a 2 minute walk from Elizabeth Beach, cabin style accomodation is offered. Shared between 3-6 people in each.
HOW WE GET THERE
Pick up and drop off is at approx 6:30pm near Central Station. (We will give you exact details a few days prior to departure)
MEALS
All meals are catered for once at the accomodation site. They are healthy and delicious.
(2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 1 dinner)

NB Not all activities are undertaken on every camp. The activities are dependent on Mother Nature's mood, and the energy and requests of the group.
THE SURFING
Three surf sessions are run - there will be a lesson for first timers / beginners. Experienced surfers are welcome to free surf, or join the lessons.
(Surfboards and wetsuits are supplied)
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR OVERNIGHT CAMPS
*100% refund for camps rescheduled by Waves Surf School
*50% refund or 85% credit on cancellations made > 30 days prior to activity - 100% transfer for the same camp (no date change) available when organised by cancelling party
*No refund or credit available for cancellations made (inclusive of COVID misadventure) <30 days prior to activity.
* All fully paid bookings are 100% transferable to another participant joining on the same date camp, when organised by cancelling party.
* Private group booking deposits are non transferable and non refundable

Waves Surf School offers Surf Day Trips, Surf Overnight Camps and Surf Yoga Escapes. We have been operating out of Sydney for over 20 years, offering learn to surf adventures for Kids and Adults.
Owned and operated by Dean 'Deano' Dunstone, this father of two teenagers is a qualified surf instructor, professional skater & actor, landscape designer and horticulturalist.
With an amazing rapport with people of all ages, safety is Deano's main priority, yet fun is undoubtedly what he exudes.
Waves have run School Surf Camps with Barker College, Outdoor Education Group, German International School, Bridigine College, Brighton Grammar and Haileybury College.
SURF DAY TRIPS AND CAMPS
Day trips are tailored to first timers and experienced groms.
Overnight surf camps have been created for groms with an intermediate to advanced level.

Such a fun way to spend the holidays- my daughter has done 2 camps now and has had a ball. The Waves crew have such positive energy and I think really bring out the best in the kids.

My 12 yo had an awesome time. The organisation was pretty slick, communication was excellent and bad weather options were enjoyable! I think my son is angling for a camping trip next!
Hi Alison, the next overnight camp will be in the Winter Holidays. (The odd easter weekend interrupted this holiday's option!) We hope he can join out day trips over Autumn though.
