Whenever we teach flamenco to our young students, we will also let them know that dance is more than just the dance techniques and forms. At the heart of it, there is a story and beauty in every move you make. Sharing this concept allows kids to be curious, creative, and expressive in what they do. It carves a beautiful path for them to be comfortable with who they are and listen to their hearts and emotions.

OUR CLASSES TEACH AUTHENTICITY IN ALL THAT WE DO

Los Carmonas was founded by Carlos Muñoz and Antonio Carmona in the 1950's in southern Spain. The core of our classes speaks with passion and fire as accompanied by music and guitar. It can also be an intimate moment of speaking to ourselves.

We wish to share with our students how beautiful it is to remove filters and inhibitions and dance purely and genuinely from the heart. Join us and be a part of something you will cherish for life.

KIDS FLAMENCO

Enrich your child’s life through the wonders of dance and music. Our Kids Flamenco program is open to boys and girls of all ages and introduces them to a world that will make them stronger with improved flexibility, fine motor, and gross motor skills.

When kids perform this exciting dance, they are also practicing their body’s coordination and balance. Listening to the beat and clapping to the sounds help them get accustomed to the rhythm.

PRESCHOOL WORKSHOPS

Our Flamenco Dance Workshop is the perfect program for your child to be immersed in history, movements, expressions, and colors. There is so much life in every class that our students never really feel that it is an actual lesson. We will begin with the basics of posture, music, movement, and rhythm. Then we complement this with lectures on geography, language, history, and Spanish culture.

Your child will get a jumpstart on attaining better health and fitness, and not to mention a lot of great cultural tidbits too!

KIDS BIRTHDAYS

We provide an exciting program for kids that will make them appreciate the wonders of dance while having the time of their lives. Our Birthday Party program brings in flamenco in a way that kids will genuinely enjoy! There we will be live flamenco party entertainment and an interactive workshop for kids to participate in. We will also have clapping, dancing, castanets, and all things Spanish. It is truly something your child and the participants will be dancing to until they get older!
