Mums/Parents/Carers & Bubs yoga combines yoga flows with some more restorative poses. Our Mums & Bubs classes are focussed on getting you moving and relieving some of the tension that comes with looking after babies. Working on backs, shoulders, tight chests. Mums and Bubs classes are a chance to get out of the house with your baby and move and hopefully relax! We will involve your baby but our focus is on YOU, a new mum.

ABOUT US

Engadine Yoga & Pilates is at its heart, a place for all people to come and feel community, and be embraced in acceptance. We believe that all levels, genders, ethnicities, deserve a place to hold space, and to seek shelter from loneliness by making connections. Whether for a cup of tea and friendly conversation, or a class, we invite you into our community space.

EYP is a judgement free space, where we encourage you to have your experience and journey just as you are meant to experience it, each class. We will guide you through laughter, through reverence, through excitement and calm. We will nurture your personal practice at your pace, with no expectations or pressure. We believe yoga is for everybody, and that everyone can practice yoga. What makes yoga so powerful is its ability to teach everyone to approach life with love and compassion.

Michelle, our director, always knew something was missing from her life, although she could only sense the edges of the void, not what would fill it. Through global adventures, she discovered yoga, and knew within a few short sessions, that she had found her path. Her lessons have taken her all over the world, and through her practice she learned numerous yoga “styles” under many renowned yoga guru’s. Eventually, her practice brought her full circle, back to a love of the beginner’s journey, and a commitment to ego-free practice. Poses made for bodies, rather than bodies fit into poses.

I started attending Prenatal yoga early on in my pregnancy, I found the studio to be extremely warm and welcoming. Michelle creates a safe space for women to connect and share experiences. I am now attending the mums and bubs class with my baby and thoroughly enjoy my weekly class. Highly recommend this studio, there is a class for everyone, no matter what journey you’re on in life.

Engadine Yoga & Pilates is more than just a yoga studio - it’s a sanctuary where you feel a sense of peace, belonging and comfort. A place for everyone - all ages, shapes and abilities. Community resources such as these are vital in today’s day and age, where we are becoming increasingly more isolated and busy. Arriving at the studio you have no choice but to leave your worries and to dos at the door (along with your shoes) and immerse yourself in an hour of peace, kindness, and a wicked full body stretch. Staying for a cup of tea afterwards is entirely optional but highly recommended 😊

And all of this doesn’t just happen - it’s carefully cultivated by the wonderful owner, Michelle. Michelle will look after you and make you feel at home.

I feel so lucky to have come across EYP some three years ago after moving to Engadine. It really enabled me to start feeling like a part of the community (not to mention that my ongoing neck pain went away after consistently doing yoga 3 times a week).

If you are thinking of trying a class - this is your sign to do it. You won’t regret it.
