Welcome to Newcastle’s boutique dance studio, home of quality dance education.

An inclusive, supportive and family friendly dance studio that has been welcoming students and their families from Newcastle and surrounds for over seven years. Institute of Dance is a dynamic and exciting dance studio that caters for students two years of age to a pre-professional level, specialising in classical ballet, contemporary and jazz dance.

Our highly educated and qualified faculty deliver the most comprehensive, safe and enjoyable training experience in a positive and family friendly atmosphere. Institute of Dance is the sister school of Baby Ballet School, Newcastle's leading pre-school dance program. Under the one roof we cater for children aged two, to a pre-professional level.

The studio prides itself on maintaining small capped classes to ensure student progression, allowing your child to be given individual attention to continue to develop confidence and technique. It is of our upmost importance that each student not only receives expert tuition and reaches their full potential, but feels like a valued member of our studio, whilst having fun and creating friendships at dance.

PRE-PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM

We are delighted to provide students from Newcastle and its surrounds the opportunity to complete Nationally Accredited Qualifications including Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) and Advanced Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance), whilst undergoing elite instruction of dance at a vocational level, alongside academic studies. Study options include Part-Time and Full-Time.

Institute of Dance’s Pre-Professional Programs are suitable for candidates who have a strong passion for classical and contemporary dance and possess the appropriate attributes along with the physical qualities. The suitable candidate should also have desire and determination to pursue their training at an elite level to venture into a career path upon graduation.
