Block printing activity using foam and/or milk cartons, pencils, waterbased ink, and rollers. Children will draw their own wanted image on a piece of foam or milk carton and that will create indentations in which, when ink is rolled, it will remain colourless. We will be printing with black ink only, but will have options to use coloured paper to print on, and use watercolour paints to paint before printing the image.

About the provider
Kitchen Printmaking Club offers education of various home printmaking practices to children and adults. We help them discover diverse and experimental forms of art and give them skills and ideas to take home by making printmaking accessible to all.
We strive to be as kind as possible to ourselves and to the planet in our art practices by using easy-to-access, non/low toxic, recycled/re-purposed tools and materials where we can, and without the use of heavy and expensive printing press.
Some printmaking technique is quick and hugely experimental, which will get your brain going, and some are more time-consuming slow-art that is good for mindfulness and concentration.
KPC also provides quick printmaking activities at parties.
