Established since 2008, JCDance has become the Northern Rivers, NSW destination dance studio. With a wide range of classes and programs on offer, our students thrive on our fully qualified and accredited professional dance teachers whom offer the very best tuition from our own private facilities. With 10yrs behind us, our studio is still evolving, lifting students closer to their dreams and we are not slowing down!

Whether you’re after a recreational class to keep fit or joining a performance program to bring out the star you were born to be, you will be amongst others that share your passion and we see the very best friendships start at JCDance.

PROGRAMS

★ Ready Set Dance

READY SET DANCE is a one hour Ready Set Dance combo class of JAZZ, TAP, HIP HOP, SINGING and MUSIC. and a whole lot of fun!

The program caters for ages 2-5yrs.

○ JAZZ – Develop muscle strength, control and balance and achieve coordination milestones like skipping before going to school.

○ HIP HOP – Bust out some ice cold moves just like Freeze to our original hip hop tracks.

○ MUSIC – Develop the musical ear, dynamics and tempo while having fun with instruments and the parachute.

○ SINGING – Sing like Twirl and build confidence singing on the microphone

○ TAP – Learn the fundamentals of tap in a playful and creative way splashing in puddles and shuffling like a penguin.

All these ingredients together create a super hour of fun!

★ Tiny Toes

You are one step closer to giving your little one a much more confident start to their childhood.

In a nurtured environment with concentrated classes in Ballet, Jazz & Tumbling, past students whom have been lucky enough to start with us at a younger age have a very progressive and noticeable learning pace as they are so familiar with our staff and teaching methods. We see dramatic confidence boosts and faint voices become the loudest in the studio!

We keep our doors open all year round for our smallest members as we encourage them starting dance as young as possible.

We like to think dance is another language. The sooner we start to speak it, or in this case ‘plie and stretch it’, the more adaptable and quicker we pick up corrections and retain lesson corrections.

★ Recreational

A balanced afternoon of exercise and social skills in a safe learning environment. Your children will engage is safe dance practice whilst learning skills at a pace they are comfortable with.

Most of our classes welcome both performance and recreational students. Should you’re children ever want to take the next step and move onto to a performance program, they will still be able to enjoy classes with the same peers.

Students who sign up to the performance program also find their school grades improve, self worth and motivation increase, communication skills develop and they learn to understand how to handle situations under pressure.

Not to mention amazing opportunities through the year learning to perform on various stages in front of crowds and audiences alongside their friends.
