Dance NRG is committed to providing fun, high quality dance classes that are affordable and suitable for children of all ages and abilities. With a dedicated staff that have been trained by us or hand picked for their passion and experience, we aim to deliver classes with a a high level of achievement and discipline whilst keeping our lessons exciting and fun.

We are a family owned and operated business that has been servicing the local area for well over 20 years and with children of our own we understand what children need and how important they are to you and the future.

OUR CLASSES

★ Tap

The innovative new tap syllabus designed by the legendary Glenn Wood. His new fun approach to tapping not only has everyone enjoying every class but achieves outstanding results, producing strong, stylish and often unbelievable tapping.

★ Jazz

This class is designed around modern styles of jazz incorporating strong jazz technique and flexibility while combining these with funk and commercial hip hop.

★ Ballet

The most classic and often serious dance form, “Ballet” teaches young dancers the most rudimentary terms and techniques and is monumentally important for all dancers to establish and maintain proper form. At Dance NRG we study the B.A.L (Ballet Australasia Limited) syllabus. A typical exam class consists of barre work & different elements of centre work.

★ HipHop

This class combines commercial hip hop with authentic hip hop styles such as popping, locking & breakdancing.

★ Lyrical

This beautiful, expressive style is often performed to slower, gentler music. It is called “Lyrical” because its movements are meant to tell audiences a story through dance. The form combines Ballet techniques with the Jazz and Modern styles influencing the movements.

★ Tiny Stars Ballet & Combo Classes

This class is designed especially for pre-school and kindergarten students. In these class students get to do jazz, tap and ballet in a fun and exciting environment.

★ Troupe

For students who wish to compete, our troupe classes participate in numerous eisteddfods(dance competitions) & events throughout the year. The troupe classes are by invitation only.

★ Gymnastics

Our gymnastics classes are geared especially towards tumbling and skills that can be utilised in dance routines. We do not use apparatus but focus on things such as cartwheels, rolls & handstands eventually moving to flips, baranis & aerials.
