My Husband and I had a caricature done by Danny Cohen in November 2022.
(I am currently running behind on my Reviews & Feedbacks).
My Mother has known Danny and his Family for over 40 years.
I had previously met Danny a few times prior to organising this caricature.
We were in Sydney for a Family Friend's Wedding and visited Danny so he could see us and get an idea of what we wanted.
We gave him a photo of us from our Wedding to base the caricature on.
We were all at the Wedding 2 Days later and he told us that he had already drafted our faces already.
Prior to leaving another 2 days later, he had finished the draft and asked us to come see it. We were staying close by, so could go and check it.
It was lucky that he was coming to Melbourne a couple of weeks later, and he was able to bring it with him and so we could pick it up from him, instead of posting it.
This sits in the Entrance way of our New Home, named Castle Hopkins and is based off a Picture with Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse. It has incorporated Up and Lilo & Stitch references, as they are themes to our house for various reasons. It includes the Date that we got the Keys to the House too.
He was very efficient to have this done in 2 weeks.
We Thank You Danny for doing this for us.
We really do appreciate it.

This camp has been such a great inclusion for my relatively shy children, they always came back full of energy with great stories to tell of all the fun experiences they have.
They beg to go back every time Danny and the team visit Perth.
Fantastic work as always and we will definitely be returning next time, well worth it.

My son (4) had such a fun time in the morning session in the Perth camp. I used to come as a child and was so glad to hear that my son had fun as well. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone with kids!!!

My two daughters (5yo and 4yo) attended the morning holiday workshop session in Perth. This was my youngest daughters first experience at a school holiday workshop/care as she has just started in kindy this year. When I collected my daughters, two older girls approached me and told me that one of the women running the session had been yelling at my 4yo when she was crying during a game. The two girls told me that she was being really mean to my daughter and kept yelling ‘stop being a baby’ - at my crying 4yo!! This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable behaviour for someone that is meant to be caring for young children. I will be contacting the company directly and also making my daughters school aware of this experience as they sent the brochure home - I just want to make other parents aware of this awful experience so they can make a decision as to whether they want to risk their children being confronted by this behaviour.

Sign up for 1 day camp in Singapore in Dec 2023 (SGD69). Child (9yo) was excited to learn about comic and animé drawing. Unfortunately he was disappointed after the day that "it was not as expected" and he didn't learn much drawing skill from the day camp.
Lunch was a disappointment as well. It was stated we need to top up SGD 8 for a lunch include noodles, snack and drink which is fine. However I was caught in suprise when the noodle is just instant noodle, a pack of chips and a can of coke. This is lunch for kids and there is no health don't said nutrition taken into consideration. Don't mention about paying $8 for instant noodles.
The late pick up T&C was another shock. Is common for organisation to have late pick up T&C at a reasonable price and time range. I was shock to see the charge in SGD 1 per minute. Is the first time I experience an organisation Charing by per minute.
Child said was a fun day as they went out to some natural walk etc.
Please market it as a holiday fun camp and not drawing camp and if you do not have the capacity to do a proper lunch please ask the participants to bring their own lunch.
Information stated in their marketing material and what was delivered was not as described.
Please find out more and understand what you signing up for before making payment.
