- The Australian Karate Academy is pleased to offer a School Holiday Camp Program, designed for children aged 6-15 years old. It provides an excellent opportunity for children to either experience the art of karate from a grass roots level, or to hone the skills they already have!
Our instructors engage the children in coordination skills and games to get them used to how their bodies move. Special sessions or degrees of complexity are introduced to those children who have some karate experience or are current / existing students of the Australian Karate Academy.
On each day, there are a number of competition based activities where children can win trophies and prizes! Exciting!

Are there any breaks?
Yes! There are many breaks throughout the day, including meals and free play.
What will my child be doing?
Activities on each day will be mixed, whether it be karate, movies, arts and crafts or games!
How much does it cost?
Full Day or part thereof (9am until 3pm): $70
Full Week (5 consecutive days, Monday to Friday, 9am until 3pm): $315
Before Care (any time from 8am): $20
After Care (3pm until 5pm): $20 per hour, or part thereof

What to bring?
All school holiday camp participants should bring a packed lunch with plenty of snacks and water bottle.
Please note, there will not be an opportunity to purchase food throughout the day.
Do I need a karate uniform? What should I wear?
No, you don't need to have a karate uniform, although we have them available to purchase if you wish. Comfortable shorts and a t-shirt is fine. Please also bring a jumper in case you get cool.
Existing students can also wear their AKA uniform if they like.
Wet Weather
Our holiday program will be held rain, hail or shine, as we are in an indoor space and fully temperature controlled.
