- Help your children build creative confidence & improve their art techniques in these fun & educational lessons taught over 8 weeks. These fully guided art classes will nurture their imagination & fast track their artistic skills. Each class encompasses drawing games, art instruction, developing an understanding of materials & creating individual artworks. All art materials & instruction are included. Developing students artistic individuality is encouraged.
Support your child’s artistic growth and boost their creative confidence in these fun and educational classes.
No skills required, just enthusiasm and a love for creativity.
Duration: 1.25 hours per session x 8 weeks
Inclusions: professional instruction, all equipment and materials
Instructors: Kristine Ballard - A practicing artist & arts educator who has facilitated hundreds of art events & programs. She exhibits & teaches in Australia & internationally.

Textured treats in painting
WK 3 – WED 21 FEB – Summer Sunsets
Painting tropic sunsets in acrylic paint
WK 4 – WED 28 FEB – Yarn Art
Sun Burst Weaving
WK 5 – WED 6 MAR – Seasonal fruits
Still life painting in acrylics.
WK 6 – WED 13 MAR – Marbling Magic
Marble oceans & characters from the sea.
WK 7 – WED 20 MAR – Ocean Days
Mixing colours with tissue paper

★ CHILDREN’S WORKSHOPS AT THE BRIGHTSPACE
We’ve designed our children’s workshop program with 3 things in mind: fun, fulfillment, and friendship. Every workshop we run is bursting with creativity, new experiences, and opportunity for your child to express themselves in a safe, nurturing space. Your child will leave lighter and brighter than they came, with a new skill learned, a sense of achievement and new friends made.
Workshops are on weekends, school holidays and we can host fun, inspirational birthday parties.
★ EVENTS
Looking for a party idea for your children (or yourselves!). We offer creative workshop parties for you and your guests or if art is not your thing, enquire about our space hire.
★ K-6 TUTORING
The Brightspace is a welcoming, inspiring and engaging learning space for children from Kindy to Year 6. Our aim is to support children’s education whilst lightening the load on parents.
We strive to provide a child-focused, positive learning experience for every individual. Our tutoring is offered in group and individual settings, both in-person and online, with emphasis on supporting your child as needed.
